No. It's possible to fake one, but people with a keen ear will know you're faking it. Just be happy with how you talk right now.

There are so many English accents and if you are a native speaker you can hear the nuances and be able to tell where somebody comes from. You would have to aim at speaking standard English (i.e. the type spoken by the Queen) or a specific regional accent. It can be done, but while it is possible to learn standard English in the way Eliza Doolittle did in Pygmalion/My Fair Lady, it is far more difficult to acquire an authentic regional accent. Some of us never do!

I moved to Canada from the States when I was an adult and after some time of living there, I acquired an accent that had many features that were more like Canadian English. Actually I just heard a radio program on this topic yesterday and the linguist who was being interviewed compared it to learning a second language, implying that you would still have an "accent". But I have known many people, including myself, that have acquired new dialects, at least partially, after moving to a new place.

Very much so, you tend to develop an accent (or bits of an accent) if you stay somwhere for long enough, my uncle moved to America much older than 18 and he's got quite a strong accent now.

Well, listen for the tones. Listen for how the British accent sounds in your own language, and master to tones in that. Then slowly learn the sounds of a natural British RP accent, and then start mixing the British Tones and pronunciation

If you immerse yourself in a culture (i.e. live with their people, do their customs) for a long enough time, you'll probably pick up the accent. My friend's aunt moved to Australia when she was in her thirties and whenever she visits she speaks with an extremely thick Australian accent.

I think it is possible to acquire one, but you will have to work at it.
