Hell is confusing. Especially in this case. I dont think that 666 would be 999, because it might be a bit to literall, but than again hell is actually a religious idea created by religions to show people consequences of what happens if they sin, or any other betrayals/bad deeds/crimes in the religions veiw, so if you dont belive in hell, you probably wont have to go to it, but if you do, ask whatever religious leader you have (ex.-preist, rabbi, exedera exedera

The teaching of 9 layers of hell comes from Dante's Inferno. It's a great read for a fictional work, but a bad idea to take as fact.

Say what? Did you actually expect me to follow that logic?
The "9 levels of Hell" theory is a little antiquated. I don't know of any serious theological treatments of this theory, although I'm sure they are out there for someone who wants to find them. The only reference to this theory I've ever known is Dante's "Inferno." Although, as I understand it, Dante based his version of Hell on theories that were actually being entertained by theologians of his time.
What happens when you beat Level 9? Do you win the game?

Are you referring to the ninth gate? How do you know they exist? From what I know it is a fictional belief and a movie. And i'd like you to tell me what exactly are the nine levels of hell because this is something I didn't think anybody believed. There indeed are multiple universes and galaxies but I have never heard of nine levels of hell..nor am I inclined to believe it.

well, whether or not they exist is definitely questionable, they do exist at least in a mythological sense. These nine level's of hell come from Dante's Divine Comedy, namely the Inferno. He travels through the nine circles of hell. This explains them pretty well.

Other than that, there is no biblical reference to them, and actually few biblical references to hell at all.

Where on earth did you get that from? It certainly does not come from the Bible. In Rev 18 you will find something that says about adding and subtracting to the Word of God. This is forbidden....if we do this we will pay the ultimate price.
Simply believe the Bible as it is....close your ears to the liars out there.

the 9 levels of hell come from a fictional book by Dante.
So just like Solomon's Mines (also from a book of fiction) they are not doctrine of any church.
