His Son was sent down knowing His mortal body would die...it's a fate we all share. However, He also sent Him down knowing that He was going to defeat death by being resurrected. This act of love was so great, that God had to turn His eyes away when His Son hung there dying on the cross. But, He allowed Him to go quickly. He didn't suffer being broken prior to being taken down from the cross, He had already died...the suffering ended. And Jesus wasn't too happy about the concept; however, He was willing to do what had to be done according to His Father's will. What greater love is there?

Jesus didn't need to be 'saved' as in needing salvation. He is the Son of God - perfect, holy and undefiled as God the Father is! It was God's will that He sacrifice His only begotten Son to die on the cross for the sins of His people. Christ didn't need to be saved from the cross because, without His death on the cross, there would be NO hope of salvation and everlasting life. God CAN be trusted completely, for He knows no sin and is perfect and just in every way - there is no sin in Him. If God was imperfect like the rest of us, then worshipping God and putting our faith and trust in Him and His word is for nothing - totally in vain!

Adam, when created was a perfect man with free will. He willfully sinned thus he lost eternal life for mankind. In order to buy back what Adam lost it had to be something of equal value. So it had to be another perfect human. Since after sinning all of Adam's descendants inherited imperfection none of them could pay the price. Jesus loved mankind so much that he WILLINGLY gave his perfect life as a sacrifice. By doing so it opened the way for mankind to be brought back to perfection if they will adhere to God's will. It wasn't anything like God not saving him son. It was Jesus' choice.

God sent Jesus into this world to suffer for us so we can be saved. If Jesus didn't go to the cross we would all be going to hell. You should be thanking God for loving us so much and remember that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God and he has everything.

Well, God certainly didn't save Jesus' body as no one's body will be "saved" as in continuing to live after death. I suppose, then, that it really comes down to belief in a soul.
All physical bodies will die eventually and if you see a person as only consisting of the physical body, then none will be saved. If, however, you see the soul of a person as their true form, it is perfectly possible to be saved and I'm sure that Jesus was.

Why do you think His Son came here in the first place?
He came to stand in our place and take our punishment onto himself so that we can go free. It was for us. For you. That's how much he loves you.
So to answer the question, I would say you can know God will save you BECAUSE he didn't save his Son. Instead he let him pay your debt. And I hear Jesus is doing just fine these days too.

The idea was that He loved us so much that He gave His Only Son to die in our place, for our sins, so that we would not have to go through all the atonements for sin that they used to have to in the Old Testament times, before Jesus came.
THAT He loved us so much that He would do this for us makes us SURE that we are safe with Hum.
He made the ultimate sacrifice for us.
I trust Him implicitly.

Do you have children?
If you don't, then you might not understand how a Dad could put himself into debt in order to bail his kid out of a financial mess, or how a Mom could go hungry in order to feed her child (a couple of for instances.)
We owe a debt we cannot pay. We have sinned, and in so-doing, we have forfeited our right to eternal life.
God simply paid that debt for us...
Of course, if your Dad were to give you a new car, or buy you a house, or pay for you to go to college, and you wrecked the car, or burned down the house, or flunked out of your classes, you can hardly blame it on the old man, can you? He sacrificed for you, and you threw it back in his face. Don't be too surprised if he is hurt and angry at your rejection. He might even decide that he's done trying to help you. It happens.

That's how God's already stretched his hand out to save you. Christ knew he was going to die and accepted it. He already knew the pain he would experience, but gladly took on that job for you. He didn't expect God to take away the pain, and he didn't want Him to. He never prayed for salvation from that pain. Instead, He took on your sins and your pain of sacrifice to save you from an eternal death and more pain than you'll ever know here.
That, my friend, is how my God and his Son have saved you from Satan.
He continues to deliver his nation from evil when they call on His name with full faith.

If he had saved Jesus then nothing would have changed. Jesus had go through all that in order for us to be saved from sin.
