how long can meat be in the freezer before it's bad?

i have some ground beef from july.
is it still okay?

Beef if kept frozen and sealed well, will keep up to a year. If the ground beef has freezer burn (white look to it), throw it out ( it will not kill you but it will taste horrible).
You could try and salvage the middle though, if your desperate.

It depends on how well wrapped it was. If it is discolored or freezer burned then throw it out. Otherwise it will be fine.
