I don't want to name my kid Jesus. I'm not even legally allowed to drink yet. I was just curious.

there are no other names? i mean i really wouldn't if i had a son. but its fine. i have heard of a lot of people named jesus. do watever u want!

It's odd for American households, all but Taboo. But Spainish/Hispanic cultures and Arabic cultures view the name as a great and common name.

Jesus (Hey-suess)
Zeus (tsooss)

Even during Jesus' life Jesus was a common name.

No, because in a world where Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, he might end up being persecuted for it.

Besides it is a common name just like Muhammad is--why would anybody want such a common name?

Kids like to have original names--I don't know what parents are thinking when they do this.

The Muslim name for Jesus "Isa" is very common amongst Muslims. for example the King of Bahrain is called Sheikh Isa which translates as Sheikh Jesus

Why not? Now you can, that Paul is not around to make a Christ out of him. The followers of Paul were called Christians
because he was preaching that Jesus was Christ.

Sure, as long as his last name isn't bin Laden or Stein. You can always call him "Chuy" ( pronounced "chewy") for short. Come to think of it, Jesus Stein sounds distinguished. The J Man was Jewish, you know!

Joshua is more acceptable in the UK but I am sure we could get used to a Jesus.

depends on your culture, where you live etc. here many people are called jesus (i live in spain), it's a common name. but i'm from england and if a kid was called jesus where i'm from he'd get bullied big time.
