Lucy give him some time.
He wanted to see you and you weren't available, that's all.
Guys like to be wanted like anyone else, and can feel rejected when their girlfriend is preoccupied with something else.
I am guessing but are you having a romantic tussle at the time, and you may not be sure if you want to stay with him? Be clear within yourself- do you really want this relationship? If you do, then try to keep in touch more. I think it's better by phone than msn! He can then hear your golden voice! Cheer up- happy new year!

Well it's obvious that he's upset because you don't have the time to see him right now. You should go up to him personally and talk to him about why you don't have the time. I don't really know what the SOLD bit means but I think that he means that he doesn't care right now that you are miserable. I don't know though. So just call him or go and see him. Maybe that will work. You got to do something. You got to talk to him. Good luck hun and I hope that everything works out between the two of you.

If i were you make sure you don't fret. He might've put that there talking about something completely different so try not to get too worked up over it. He didn't say goodbye properly maybe because hes late. I know why your asking what he means by 'sold'. I think if you just act like normal when you see him next and from the way he acts you will be able to see if he is upset with you.
Saying 'sold' might mean he is annoyed with you and is saying he is not yours. But he might've said it to maybe show you he is not happy with you at this moment in time.

So I take it you are actually seeing him on new years eve itself? From reading your question it's that you can't see him before new years eve?
If you are seeing him, then he's gone off in a man sulk cos he wanted to see you before then.
If it's that you won't have time to see him new years eve, then I'd say his sulk is justified.
Ask him what SOLD means, only he can tell you,but it's plain to see he's pi*sed off with you right now.

he's throwing a hissyfit.
let him cool down and then talk to him about it. he's probably hurt because he might've wanted to spend new years eve with you. try to settle on a compromise like hanging out with him part of the day and then spending it with the family.
also, it might not be because of you. something might've happened while you were talking to him, or he had soem kind of altercation with another friend. give hiim his space, and let him know you're there for him whenever he feels ready to talk.

You hurt him. Guys put their feelings out on a limb and hope that no one hammers them into the ground. Probably, he left because he wasn't able to continue speaking and maybe had to get ready for work.

He might be facing some other problems that you may not be knowing about.. So he probably snapped for a moment when you started piling more problems on him..

He is getting upset over nothing. Talk to him about it on New Years, obviously he likes you a lot.
