Is this a side effect of anxiety? I have a history of anxiety and panic attacks, and this usually happens in public - at home im fine.

It happens even when im not anxious, like I will be looking at a picture, or at some object, and out of nowhere, a random thought or phrase will pop into my head, like something i wasnt even thinking about at the time. Am I just being paranoid? Its not even negative things, it will be a phrase like "welcome home" or "hey guys", just weird and random! LOL

Some of your answerers said you had evil spirits intruding your thoughts...nonsense! It is indeed from your anxiety. I'll bet those intrusive thoughts get so bound to one another, it leaves you exhausted and probably depressed, right? I had it for as long as I can remember being 5, but didn't see a doc till a few years ago. I just thought I was a "quirk" or maybe everyone thought that way. It made me a little paranoid too just thinking about thinking too much. I thought,"What's next? Voices?". I tried a couple different antidepressents before I found one that works for me. I don't obsess as much, overanalyze as much, worry as much,....... That little pill a day made my world just a tad bit normal.

I get this too. It is something that you will need to train yourself not to do. When you think about something like this, tell yourself off. Or, if you can sense that this might happen, sing to yourself in your head, or distract yourself to stop the thoughts coming. This is only if the thoughts are intrusive and uncomfortable. If they aren't, then there is nothing to do about it. But it isn't something you should be worried about. It is ok.

Plead the blood of Jesus from a crucifix in all corners of your trailer to remove the evil spirits. Or use meds that can dull your mind a lot. Or use cognitive therapy and see how the unbalanced chemicals from severe depression make your primitive brain send messages to the wrong areas of the upper brains. And get rid of false hopes in life.
