The best recipe is the one on the back of the choco chip bag. I make it just a little bit better by lessening the butter by a couple tablespoons.
That recipe is also a good base for oatmeal butterscotch cookies or most other cookies.
I cut my recipe in thirds, add whatever I want in each part, then bake them in cake pans and cut the finished cookies with a pizza cutter.
Pizza pans are a great way to make a big pan choco chip cooky! :)

1/2 Cup of White Sugar
2 Cups of Softened Butter

4 Eggs
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
5 Cups of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
--Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees
1) Mix Flour and Baking Soda together & set aside.
2) Blend the Butter, Brown Sugar & Suagr into a paste
3)Beat the pudding until proper consistencie then add the Vanilla & Eggs to Pudding
4)Add the Butter sugar paste to the pudding mixture, then blend in the flour....Mix very well. (It will take a bit of work, but it will blend)
5) Stir in the Chocalte Chips
Depending on the size of the Cookies you want you can use a teaspoon or a table spoon to put the cookies on a ungreased baking sheet. Because of the texture the cookies will not be perfectly round. But they will remain soft batch cookies. Make sure to space them a few inches apart, then bake for 10-15 minutes depending on cookie size. the edges will become golden brown & the top of the cookies will slightly darken when they are ready. Hope you like them. :D Enjoy

Chocolate Chip Cookies
5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (24-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Make a powder out of the rolled oats by putting small amounts into the blender or food processor at a time.
In a large bowl, combine powdered rolled oats, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
In another large bowl, blend butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and creamy; stir in eggs and vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture; stir until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Roll dough into golf-ball-sized cookies. Place 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven and cool on wire racks.
Yields 8 1/2 dozen cookies.

I have THE best!!!
1 cup of butter room temperature
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspooon of baking power
1-1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of cowbrand
2 eggs
450 grams of Chocolat chip cookies
2-1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups of flour
Pre heat oven @ 350° C.
In a big bowl cream the butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, and cowbrand (la petite vache).
Combine dry and wet ingredients. Add chocolate chips. With fingers, make balls the size of golf balls and put on cookie tole. Cook 9 minutes.
DO NOT COOK MORE THAN THAT even if they LOOK uncooked! That is what makes the cookies melt in your mouth!!! You'll see, they continue to cook after you have taken them out of the oven.
Enjoy!!! Let me know if it came out great! fireylady@gmail.com
