Do you have to want to die in order to be with God? I know you can be saved by saying your a sinner and beliving in God and trust in him and belive that he rose Jesus from the dead and stuff, but in a Bible I saw you have to call on God's name to also be saved. Does that include wanting to die? But I don't wanna die yet! I might not be that ready! What if there's something I need to know before I leave? I know if I die I die, but what if I needed to know something and didn't know it? I'll also miss people. In a way I don't care cuz I'll be with God and in a better place tho.

I also heard that only a few people will find the way to God. I don't wanna be one of people that don't find the way! Or only a few will keep walking and the rest will turn back. I don't wanna be one of people that turn back!

I told Jesus that I do call on his name, but I want a long enjoyable life. Will that be ok to say that I call on his name, but want a long enjoyable life?

Can you help me??

Have you ever considered that these people have been lying to you about this?

Religion has elected its self the supreme earthly authority on two subjects that it knows absolutely nothing about, God and the afterlife. If we look at the various religions it is beyond obvious that they don’t agree about who God is. Nearly all of them claim to be the one and only correct path to God.

The one truth that remains constant is that the definition of God that they have come up with is little more than a mirror image of the particular set of biases and prejudices of the group the religion represent. Can this be just a coincidence?

With all of the various renderings of God by all of the different religions we can draw only a very few conclusions about God. Either God is a pathological liar who tries to be all things to all people or God is hopelessly schizophrenic. Personally I see too much beauty in the world to accept either of these conclusions.

To me it seems far more likely that religion is just a lie that people tell about God.

Lucky for us this lie we call religion does not effect the real God in any way.

The way I see it that means a death to this world (worldly things). A true born again christian has all they need to get into heaven. According to how many people is and has been on this earth , yes only a few people will make it. But in the Book of Revelations John said they couldn't be numbered there was so many.w/ Jesus you will enjoy life.

Psalm 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
You can have long life here on earth and also know His presence.Psalm 91 requires that youdwelling in the secret place of the most High, Make the most High your habitation, and call upon His name and you will receive the promises of God.
Spend time in private praise and worship of God, in His word and prayer and you can become aware of God's presence where you are.

You can be with God on earth. You dont have to die. God is within. Even in the bible it says the kingdom of God is within. Therefore it is not about going to a far away place, it is about going within yourself.

Live life to the fullest, this is what God desires everyone to do. Live, love, be merry.

Quite the contrary. He has a plan for your life - right here, right now.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

What is more desirable is that His will (plans) be accomplished in your life - whether that be short or long.

You may be refering to Matthew 10:39 (NLT)
If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give it up for me, you will find it.

To "give up your life for Christ" is not to seek to end it but to submit to His will as stated above.

Someone once said, "If you want to walk on water you have to get out of the boat." Seek His will in your life and you will not be disappointed.

you can have a long enjoyable life if you live for God. For your life will have meaning. Sit and pray and ask God if you can show you how to walk for him. It is quite fun to be a servant. Jesus is a friend, and his ways are easy. He came to show you how to walk. You have a hard time because you do not pray for his strength and understanding. Seek his will child.

wow. take a breath. close your eyes. God is RIGHT THERE BESIDE YOU. He loves you more than your mom & dad do. Ya know how no matter what you do your Mom & Dad always have your back? He is even closer than that to you!

The idea is to be WILLING TO LET GO of anything on earth, not that he will ask it of you ... just that he knows you are willing.

Be patient and develop a relationship with God before yougo trying to impress him ;P He loves you AS YOU ARE .. NOT IF YOU DO anything ... get it?
AS YOU ARE> Just like your parents. They don't love you IF YOUR GOOD ... they love you always .

The only way to God is to use the life he gave you to the fullest in a kind and caring way and to seek the truth and enlightenment. Put nothing and nobody before God and if you pray pray direct to God and not an intermediate..!!

I think you need to define "enjoyable" life and compare that to what Jesus said we all have to do.

Just shouting out His Name does not necessarily mean you are gonna instantly be struck dead in the flesh and leave here for heaven! Lotsa people say His Name alot everyday and they are still wandering around .

Stop worrying.

You are making me feel very sad for you and people like you. Live your life the best way you can. You can't tell when you will die. It is inevitable that you will but unknown when you will. Don't live your life in fear of that moment. If you do you miss out on the many moments that make life so wonderful.
Peace to you.
