What will the US gov't do when Jesus returns in a cloud of glory?
I asked this in the military section and they were not amused, I can tell you that.

This is a question you can only ask yourself because the answer will be different for every individual. Messages should take precedence over metaphore in your heart and mind otherwise you mislead yourselves. For many people around the world this is the reality and that's what has lead to most of humanities problems today. Jesus taught people to live mindfully, which is a message that has become skewed over the centuries and has lead to a dependency on external images based on words and metaphores. His spirit and way of life can only resurge when detached from scripture and religion because wrongful intention has long infiltrated it. Live mindfully and may you feel the peace within.

Was Jesus a Republican? Was Jesus considered a Terrorist of his time?
I guess the US gov't will do what it has done to all do gooders (Lincoln, Kennedy, King, etc.).
Finally. Jesus will or has returned but not in the image you perceive. Love & Goodness is Omnipresent. Have fear. Have Faith. Your Friend

I'm 14 so I can assure you I am none of the above.
if Jesus actually existed, and did return..
I am sure the government would crap themselves and beg for forgiveness.. though supposably Jesus is a very forgiving person, I cannot tell you what to expect because I have never met him.

OK why ask a question and then tell certain people(Terrorists or Commies or Democrats) that they can not answer...I am a christian and believe in Jesus's return but that is a very bad question sorry...And well our government does not answer God as a whole it is the individual person who will answer to God.

What will you do if you think jesus will return to glorify you and instead you discover that jesus condemns Americans and Bush for the murder of innocent Iraqi civilians and children all for oil and money?

BTW, each thumbs-down points to a guilty conscience over the arrogant and sick war being waged with American $$.

It will never happen. The only thing coming for us in a blaze of glory is a natural disaster. And like all things - I don't think the U.S. government will be prepared or give a crap. And if the natural disaster kills us all - it doesn't matter anyway. We won't care -- we'll all be dead.

If the Bible is correct, there will no longer be a united states (per se) at the time of the second coming of Christ. We will all be a part of the global government so our political leaders would have no say about what to do or not to do. My opinion only, but I dont think it will be long before we see this come to pass.

The US gov't is a whole lot of different people and I suspect you will get a whole lot of different reactions including disbelief so what is the point to such a broad question?
