I am 21 and just got a new used car. I needed insurance so my mom and I were shopping around and when they went and looked at my driving record it said I have FIVE speeding tickets and a ticket for driving on a suspended license!!

First off I have Never ever even gotten any moving violation!
Secondly I have never had a suspended license.

Two of the tickets were even before I got my drivers license. It was after I had gotten my permit but before I got my drivers license. What should I do? Has this happend to anyone before?
If its happend to you what ended up happening?

You're going to need to straighten this out with your local DMV. Best to go down there in person.

Get in touch with the three most common credit companies which will have your driving record information as well. Then you must go to the department of vehicle with information that you were not driving at the time of some of the incidences. I'm not sure what you can do about the other incidences except to go through an attorney. It may not justify the cost. But you must do something about someone having found your information.

Protest the record. You should be prepared to prove that you did not get those tickets. This is easier to fix than you may initially think. But most importantly, I'd follow Mary S' advise and checkout my credit report.

Mary's advice sounds pretty solid, I agree with her, It sounds like you are a victim of identity theft. Like she said, you need to check your credit report, if you see anything that is not correct, report it immediately. Better get you a good lawyer and get ready for a fight. Getting this matter cleared up is not going to be easy.
