It means that Ozzy is like the seed that was planted among thorns and the deceitfulness of riches and the cares of this world have choked out the Word that he once believed in and stopped it from bearing any fruit unto salvation. That's what it means.

Are you sure that's what he said? He's so hard to understand. In fact, why is it that I cannot make out the lyrics to virtually every song except Ozzy's? Yet I can't understand a word he says. It doesn't work that way with Bob Dylan.
