Since the Democratic Party is pro-choice, does that mean all USA Catholic Democrats go to hell? And all USA Catholic Republicans go to heaven?

Siempre...posted in part:
All the Catholics I know are Democrats, but do not believe in abortion. They are pro-life.. heck, they aren't even supposed to use birth control which is a bit ridiculous in my opinion..
I think the whole Catholic religion is twisted...

Mixing non-profit religions with USA politics? What is the meaning of using the non-profit religion card? Vote the Bible? Vote the European Pope? Vote the Book of Mormon? etc.?

all I know is that they are all automatically-excommunicated from the Catholic Church if they are pro-choice/abortion.
I don't know about the rest according to their beliefs.

I think the whole Catholic religion is twisted ! Actually it is..it's been proven with fact..
So to answer your question, I'm not sure if they will go to heaven or hell..If you are 'truly saved' I can't imagine why you would be pro-choice..But then again many Catholics aren't truly saved. If you accept Jesus in your heart and repent of your sins, your pretty much guaranteed a ticket to Heaven. Now that doesn't mean you just live how you please, either !

Do Catholics who are Democrats go to hell?
I should think not. They still follow Jesus, so shouldn't they go to heaven by your beliefs?
And all USA Catholic Republicans go to heaven?
So, the Republicans follow Jesus and all that, and since the Democrats believe in a different political theory, even if they follow Jesus more than the Republicans they still go to hell?
That's messed up.

Only the ones who support abortion.
You can be a Christian democrat and still be against abortion. When I say Christian....I mean Cover to Cover Bible/God relationship of obedience.
But if who you are voting for supports abortion then you will go to hell unless you are naive.

We all have our own oppinions about things. We have our own convictions...And why use Catholics and Democrats as an example...That is pretty low in my book...I am baptist and republican but I will not judge someone for what they are just like I do not want to be judged...And going to hell means that you haven't excepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior...IT is not because of one decision or another that you have or have not made.

Not necessarily.
Unfortunately no political party has a platform in line with Catholic social teaching.
The Catholic Church is pro-life in the widest sense. This is often called a "Consistent Ethic of Life."
This pro-life stance stresses the highest regard for dignity of human life including that of:
+ All people in objecting to unjust war and nuclear arms. (closer to Democratic platform)
+ The unborn in objecting to to abortion, in vitro fertilization, frozen embryos, embryonic stem cell research, and cloning (closer to Republican platform)
+ The elderly, sick and dying in objecting to assisted suicide and euthanasia (closer to Republican platform)
+ Prisoners in objecting to the death penalty (closer to Democratic platform)
+ The poor and minorities in supporting social justice issues (closer to Democratic platform)
Some Catholics are enthusiastically anti-abortion and align themselves with the Republican party.
Some Catholics align themselves with the Democratic party which supports the "Catholic" that effect the most people.
Neither party follows all Catholic teachings.
For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 2259 and following: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt3sect2chpt2art5.htm#2259
With love in Christ.

Being a pro-choice Democrat is problematic. But so is being a pro-war, anti-poor, pro-wealth Republican.
Neither party is completely pro-life, if you consider all of the life issues.

i hope not....Republicans are NOT pro-life, they're only anti-abortion. Recall Dubbya's smile when he was still guv of texas & was asked his view of the retarded guy they were going to execute---his smile was bigger than his face!.... then there's this Iraq thing that supposedly ended in May'05!!! BTW, there are some dems that are NOT Pro-choice...not many, but a few.
