It is a slight concern that you are worried about your weight at your age and your weight is good for your build...however, in today's society, it is difficult not to be overwhelmed by all we hear about dieting.

Dieting can mean two things...cutting back on what you eat (not what you want to do) and changing the way that you eat...Eating healthfully, such as fruits, vegetables, lean meats, milk for calcium, etc. is a great idea and also including about 30 minutes of exercise into every day (which doesn't need to be "organized" but could even just be considered all the walking you do to your lockers at school or home from school or around the mall).

If you are seriously concerned about the thoughts that you're having, please talk to a teacher, nurse at school, parent, or adult family member.

EAT HEALTHY and you need not worry about calories. Good healthy foods are naturally low in calories. Fruits and veggies, limited meat, nothing fried, no processed foods, no dairy, nothing white. exercise.
Being skinny is OK if you are get the nutrition that your body needs. No nutrition and you can develop some serious diseases. Your body needs fuel to function.

Watching your calorie in take isn't bad, but if it starts to become an obsession, then it is something to worry about.

it's always a good thing to be aware of what and how much you are eating... as long as you ARE eating.
