Yes, it is because they are fresh. I go to an Organic Food Store where to get some of my food, and a lot of times, I get my eggs from there. The store gets their eggs from organic farms, so the eggs are fresh. My advice would be to cool the egg under cold running water first, and let sit to cool for 5-10 minutes. Then peel.

I also add some salt to the water when I boil eggs. That makes the shells easier to peel. I never used vinegar, though. It leaves an awkward taste.

Put your eggs in the pot, Put cold water in the pot salt the water, turn on the stove, bring to a boil, as soon as it comes to a full rolling boil, shut the heat off and cover. In 15 min you will have the perfect hard boiled egg. Let cold water run over the eggs. Tap the egg on the wide side to crack it. While still under the cold water remove the shell. You should have little or no waste. It works all the time.

Vinegar in the water you boil them in. It is the freshness that makes them hard to peel. But it certainly is worth the extra effort to have home=grown eggs. They are way better than store bought eggs. My grocery store doesn't know what brown eggs are. I can't believe it. I just like brown better.

Pinch of salt and vinegar, the vinegar makes the shell easy to break. Fresh also makes the egg best

When they are done boiling, immediately put them into COLD water. If you think it's because they're so fresh, try leaving a few in your fridge for a week and try it.

It probably is.
try cracking the shell all around and then leaving them in the water for a wee minute longer. it might help to separate it from the egg

How lucky you are.

Add salt into your water before boiling.

Cook to your liking.

With a SHARP knife in one hand - kitchen paper in the other - one movement swiftly go through the shell. Enjoy....xxx
