I don't know what to tell you. Maybe it's crying because it's new to your home and afraid. If I was you I'd keep it inside the house for a few days so it can get use to you, then after 2 or 3 days take it back outside. Oh and I suggest you take the puppy to the vet to see what's wrong with it. Goodluck! =]

Firstly a puppy really should not be sleeping outdoors, by itself, no wonder its crying. Its too young an age for a puppy to be left alone in the elements, I don't know where you live but I hope you are in a warm climate? Please make a bed for the puppy indoors, with some soft blankets and a toy. Does it cry indoors too?
Have you checked the puppy over, by checking for cuts, bruises, thorns, etc., that may be causing pain?
Have you checked its feces, to see if there is blood, that maybe caused by worms. Then it should get a dose of a worming program to get rid of them. Some pups get worms directly from their mothers, so check that out.
If so, it may be sick, and you must get some of the initial vaccinations for the first time to protect against diseases.
If your leaving the puppy alone outside you cannot see if anything is harming the dog while you are sleeping.
I would not leave the dog outside, its just too young and maybe later on you can, but I wouldn't.
Please take care of your puppy, its like a child right now, and you would not leave a child outside -unattended overnite - would you?

What would you do if you had just left your Mum and were left alone outside, he is a baby. Why have a dog if you want to dump him outside. Leaving him to cry is not teaching him how to behave, it's making him unhappy. It is not you who need help, it's your poor puppy.
Yes it could make him sick, he needs love and company.
He will need to be fed about four times a day. Feed him and then walk around the garden (yard) and praise him when he pees or poos. Pick him up and cuddle him and then put him into a WARM AND PROTECTED BED. Or if you have a heart provide an inside bed. When he wakes up, walk around the garden with him and praise him again when he pees or poos.
I adore dogs, however they are not objects to be ignored or left to suffer.
He is very young, please if you have no compassion and no understanding of dogs SELL HIM BEFORE HE IS TOO OLD TO ADAPT TO A NEW HOME.

He is very young and may simply be lonely and frightened. He's in a new surroundings and is probalby just sad. I"d take him to the vet though and get him checked out though and make sure he gets his shots and that he is ready to be outdoors all the time by himself. He may simply be too young to be out yet if he is alone with no other dog and not ready for outdoors until a little older. Are you in a cold climate? Is he properly housed outdoors? Is he in a kennel with a place to get into out of the elements? Do you make sure he has plenty of food and water out there? there can be a lot of reasons why.

It is a VERY bad idea to have a puppy live outside before he has had all of his shots! The puppy is at risk for serious infections!!!!
Why would you get a dog to be an outdoor dog? THese are PACK animals that need to stay with their "pack" or family.
I hope the cops do come so that they can re-home this dog to a more suitable home!!!

The neighbours should call the police. The dog is lonely and missing people. He is going to cry and fuss.. Dogs don't live outside in the yard, they live in the house as part of the family.
Good luck when the cops show up.

Umm...
There is a new law that says your dog can not be out side from 10-pm to 6-am.
You can't make your dog live out side. Give your dog up to some one who acutally cares for it.
What idiot gets a dog and dosent get its shots. Expecially if you leave it outside.
Its most likely your dog has or is gonna get parvo. Un vaccinated puppys that go out side always get parvo. It can kill your dog.
Please give up your dog if you are not gonna get it vaccinated and let it stay inside.

He's still a pup so just keep him inside. As for not having his shots, do so immedietly cause he could be prone to infections. Dogs are family pets and are meant to stay inside with their family. If you aren't ready for that kind of commitment then give the poor puppy to a more suitable home.
no offense, but your grammar is horrible =(

Here's what you do: 1) Find the dog a new home. 2) Get a lawn ornament. Why get a dog when all you want is a decoration? A dog needs love and attention. Get one of those irredescent balls on a pedastal, those are cool. BONUS! They don't cry!

Wow. Why do you have a dog if you don't want to take him to the vet, don't want him to be big, and don't want the dog inside? Dogs are social animals who want to be with "the action." The poor puppy's probably LONELY.
