I think it was the clay I was using in art...every time I was done, my nails and hands would be all dry...yuck, I never had this problem before..

Haha the last 2 nights after I took a shower I put lotion on my nails...I really doubt that'll help, lol

Use this product called "Burt's Bees' Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme." It's a soothing blend of natural ingrediants for intensive care of the cuticles. It's the best thing ever! Also it't not tested on animals!

make a mixture of olive oil/jojoba oil and coarse sugar like demerera in a bowl.

rub it all over your hands and the sugar will act as an exfoliator and remove dead skin cells while the oil will soften and moisturise your hands.

then wash with water (and maybe soap if you need to but try not to as this will dry your hands out)

then dry and use some jojoba oil or cuticle oil on your nails

Ok two things that can help is getting baby oil, and rubbig it o your cuticles, and nails along with your hands. Works great for me!

Also you can humiditize your hands by boiling water, and when removing the cover, you put your hands on the top where the steam is coming out, and it will totaly smoothen out your hands-just dont get too close to it.

hope that helps!
works for me!
try it!

As mentioned before, olive oil works as a great moisturizer. Massage it around your nails, do it for a few days, you'll see the difference.
