It's a scam. Do NOT give them any personal information. If you gave them any personal information like your bank account or credit card, contact your bank NOW or you will soon find your account drained. There's no such thing as grants just because you pay your taxes. These are leeches preying on unsuspecting people and they need to be stopped!

Scam!
Besides, grant money has to be applied for. No company or government agency is just going to make random calls and offer it to you. And even if you did qualify a grant, they'd mail you a check. Someone who gives out their personal bank account information to a total stranger on the phone is just begging to be ripped off.

I never heard of it and it is probably a fake, like I get these email from phony people saying I have a refund coming and I just always report them as spam, they are putting you on. I know I do not have a refund coming I have been paying them back tax's for the past 17 years and finally got them paid off just last month, I will file on time from now on. It was like paying your mortgage off, almost took as long.

It's a scam. If they are a legitamit company, they would be willing to send you a check. Have them send the check to your work address. Do not give them any personal information like your bank account or social security number.

They don't want your account number to make a deposit--they want your account number to EMPTY IT.

Are you so blinded by the idea of free money that you would hand your money over so easily???

Try to get information from them like a phone number, address, or name, but do not give them any of your information. If you can get any information from them, tell the IRS. I'm sure they will be happy to shut down these thieves.

clearly a scam. The gov't never pays you $$ for paying your taxes on time, it's expected!
Are they asking you to either wire them fees or give them your bank account???
