its never ok to not eat, but technically the body can go 2 weeks without food before organs start to shut down and 3 days without water. now the reason that its not ok to go without eating is because food gives you energy, of course. if youre doing strenuous activities you could pass out. not to mention that your blood sugar can drop substantially and you can die. on the flip side, several years ago i was in your same situation and i ate like a rabbit for 2 years straight. I also converted to being a vegetarian. i worked out about 5 days a weekn and lost about 100 pounds in 6 months. of course this wasnt healthy, but i did it and no real side effects other than the fact that I was a little protein deficient from not eating any meat. in my opinion just stick to normal eating healthy and exercising. its better all around

Not really you need energy to be able to be active, and you don't want to get to skinny. You'r body is used to get food daily and skipping two days throws it off. Every one needs engery in their diet. Just try to eat healthy and you will put on wieght but if you eat you get energy, so then you can work out. :)

absolutely not!..especially since you had a baby...i know it worked before, but you are a new mom. To lose that weight...join a gym or buy hip hop abs (it really works and its fun) and eat healthy (fruits, veggies, AND you need protein)

absolutely not. you are better off to eat several small meals throughout the day and exercise then to not eat at all.
