Mix an equal amount of vinager and water together and put it in a spray bottle. That way everytime the puppy has an accident all you will need to do is spray it on there. I have a 7 week old puppy and when she makes accidents i clean it up with cloroz wipes. After that spray some of the vinager solution on it but dont rub it in...just let it sit. It takes the smell completely away.

Sometimes I let some seltzer soak into the carpet. I then sprinkle some baking powder onto the carpet and steam clean. Vinegar helps to remove the smell...but does little to get rid of the discoloration.

There's some stuff at the pet store--natural something. It's supposedly the best.
If the smell remains, you'll need to pull up the carpet and replace the padding in that area. Spray that area liberally with downy or febreeze--something that smells good to you.
Puppies only pee inside if they are not crated, and not walked regularly, esp after waking up and after eating. Puppies are smart. They learn quickly. But you can't leave them tucked in the bathroom all day and not expect carpet damage.

vinegar will neutralize the odor. DO NOT use bleach or ammonia.
the best thing to do is get a pet cleaner from Petsmart or Pet supermarket that has enzymes in it that will totally remove the odor so puppy will not smell his pee and go there again

No bleach! Blot it up, use RESOLVE carpet cleaner. There are products available in pet stores to get rid of the odor, and also prevents your pup going back to the same spot

Nature's Miracle. It contains an enzyme that destroys the urine but shouldn't harm your carpet. It also deters dogs from using that spot again. It contains citrus so the smell is pleasant and you can purchase it at the pet stores (Pet'sMart, PetCo, etc.).

Go to your vet or to a pet store and purchase Nature's Miracle. It is truly a miracle product and works very well. Use per label instructions and you won't have a problem anymore.
