How long do i have to wait until i can turn a tv that has come in from the cold?

I just received a tv from a relative that has been sitting in their garage. I know that condensation will form after bringing it into a warm house. How long should i wait before trying to turn it on? I've heard a couple hours to a few days. Its a 32 inch tube tv. Its a huge tv and weighs a ton.

general rule is atleast an hour, i would give it 90 mins or so

One or two hours should be enough to come to room temperature.
