Ok, I'm behind the wheel of a car driving. (Not sure of the color of my car) But I see my hands on the wheel. I feel myself excell in speed. I'm on a four lane street, two oncoming, two ongoing. There is usually a white colored car,(not a truck ever) but sometimes a dull red colored car in front of me. I feel anxious, scared, then panic, as I slam on the breaks....trying to prevent a rear end collision. Tightly Swearving... I'm almost in the collision, then I awake suddenly! Sweating and outta breathe. This is all that occurs, Nothing before...Nothing after. I want to know why I keep having this same dream? And why the color of the car changes somtimes from White to Red? And Why does start where it does and end so abruptly? Thank you

Try keeping a log every time you have this dream for the next year or so. When you make an entry for the dream, also write a journal entry of things that were happening in your life for a day or two prior. After you have some entries built up, you can start looking for patterns...
You're in the "driver's seat". (in charge)
You're accelerating. (anxious to "get ahead")
There is an obstacle in your path. (something is in the way)
You swerve to miss it. (your control is threatened)
You're unnerved by it.
Offhand I would say that you are "driving yourself too hard" at the times you have these dreams, you are trying too hard to reach a goal, too anxious to complete it successfully, and have trouble accommodating when something happens that means you have to change your plans some. I'm not sure what "white" would mean in this context, it's a color of new beginnings, or fresh starts, maybe it means that the goal needs to be re-assessed before it can be completed. The definition for red that seems to fit the best might be "stop" or "danger", maybe the project or whatever is not going well, and needs to be given up altogether. Keeping a log / diary of these dreams as they occur will help you to identify patterns...

The feeling of anxiety in a dream is often related to feeling anxious in your every day life. You need to look into something that happened 8 years ago that you haven't dealt with and that made you scared but you couldn't deal with it at the time. The car and colours are usually just a story but the feelings are usually something subconsious.

the significant situation to keep in mind approximately desires is they're to no longer be taken actually. Emotion is what maximum suitable defines desires. evaluate the way you felt as a effect. that's not so uncommon to dream approximately circumstances or human beings from the previous. desires are your brains way of understanding issues that have got here approximately to you, style of like a working laptop or laptop rebooting and cleansing out previous information. what is going on on your existence that makes you experience like that dream did? it is the main suitable place to start.

My theory about recurring dreams is that you had the dream once, for whatever reason, you woke up before it ended which is why you remember it, and your mind associates it with a particular trigger (a sound you sometimes hear, a certain smell) which makes the dream come back. I don't think it has any supernatural or psychological significance.
