Perfection is an ideal. It is like absolute zero. It does not exist.

OK, from these answers I can see that a serious disconnected between the idea of reality and God exists in the minds of the believers. They can not consider them in the same mental frame.

(sorry , that should read "serious disconnect" instead of disconnected)

Yes. We have experience of imperfection in this material world, that means that perfection must exist in another plane.
The material world is but a shadow of reality. In the shadow there is no reality or substantiality, but from the shadow we can understand that there are substance and reality. In the desert there is no water, but the mirage suggests that there is such a thing as water.

It requires greatness to create greatness, and greatness to let greatness abide.

The world suddenly becomes perfect when we are in high spirits, all is beautiful, the song of the birds in the trees hitherto unheard, the smiles of passers by, laughing children, swooning lovers...heaven...

Alas when we have fallen out of bed on the wrong side, then the confounded crows keep squawking, blessed are the barren, music is an aberration on the eardrums and life takes on a hellish aspect.

Nothing has changed in both situations, except our toerance and mood levels. The toxic beng breeds hate, poisons itself and those around it.

The pure cleansed soul is fragrant and a breath of fresh air, is a joy to be around, and makes the world a more beautiful place.

There is nothing perfect here on earth. But heaven is perfect. I believe that there is no sin, alienation, or death there to keep us from God.

God made the concept of perfection so hard for humans to understand, and he's doing it for a reason. If we all know what heaven is like, we will all just be sitting here killing time and waiting for that. God is keeping heaven a surprise for us here on earth. That's what we have to look forwards to if we believe!

Perfection is a term that we human beings often use to capsulate everything good that we cannot be at once...at least as human beings. God is all that is good at all times; perfection.

If we look at God as an example under this premise, we strive to become like Him in hopes that He will see our efforts and deem them worthy to achieve this perfect state once we are no longer human (like Him).

Perfection is also seen as the absence of fault or evil. For example a perfect score on a test is the absence of incorrect or faulty answers. The pure innocence of unconditional love can be seen as the absence of evil.

I believe that a gracious God would not expect us to strive for perfection without being able to achieve some form of success (that would just be evil). In that sense we must learn what it takes to become perfect and practice it. We will have mini successes or "mini-perfect" moments, however the state of goodness at all times will be the reward for our earnest effort to seek it...Be blessed in your journey to an answer:)

Yes and Yes. God is perfection and everything is perfect. God is present in everything. Since God is perfect everything is perfect since no un-perfect quality exists in the absolute.

I think God is perfect. Why not?
Just because the creatures he made are imperfect doesn't mean he is not. He made us imperfect on purpose, or else what would stop us from thinking we're no better than he?

My answer is a convincing confident. that's according to faith no longer information. maximum could ascribe to a faith yet i think of faith is incorrect by means of mankind's good judgment. faith even with the actuality it is inherent to mankind. If no longer, why could between the 1st questions out of our "monkey mouths" be is there a God? Or why am I right here? Our short history in the international may be performed out for you by means of technological expertise, yet lots of what they're merchandising is according to conjecture and theory. we are asked to have self belief in what they sell. I certainly have self belief in God or perhaps with the actuality that no-one has gotten the complete image yet, i've got faith in time we could have all printed to us. We in simple terms could desire to love one yet another as suggested by means of Christ and attempt as maximum suitable we can to serve God with our total hearts. that's fairly remarkable yet nonetheless something worth putting faith into must be great.
