no, creationists haven't evolved for a good 4.5 billion years.

Well, evolution is a scientific principal that has been shown to work an species over time as the population adapts to the environment by the ones who are most suited having more offspring, and those least suited having fewer. It doesn't really mean anything, scientifically, if you try to apply it to a single being, you can't evolve, but your species can.
Now, the other problem with this is that the concept of god as defined by most religions is that of an omnipotent and omniscient being (never mind the logical contradictions entailed in this), how could he change at all if he were already "perfect".

Why does someone who is perfect need to improve? Not only will he not change, he will also judge your life when you die. My advise is you be more respectful.
In response to Grumpy Bear: There were many many writings that could have been included in the Bible but weren't. The reasons that books got rejected include (but aren't limited to) lack of popularity amongst Jews (Old Testament) and Christians (Old and New Testament) and a belief the writing wasn't inspired by God. Ultimately the only real question is would one of those rejected writings have made you a better person than you are now?

What makes you think God hasn't evolved? God is always changing. The more refined man gets, the more refined god gets.

Firstly God doesn't exist outside the human cautiousness. That is fact, I don't care what you believe or don't believe. He would not exist without human perceptions. It's the same with good and evil, they are all human perceptions. They cannot exist without anything not believing in them. So yes God has evolved with human understanding.

No, in a sense God is evolution. God is present in all things. Since life is evolving so is God. This makes God all the more Magnificant!

Human beings haven't evolved much either, as clearly evidenced by the remaining belief of a cold, callous "God" figure.

That's an awesome question. According to people who take the Bible extremely literal - the answer is yes. I'd like to know what would happen if additional Bible books were found. Would they be incorporated or no - since they were not there from the beginning. It seems lame and like sheep mentality.
