OMGLMHO The thought of a Sunday morning service where objects are lined up as the congregation and preacher try to make the things into people. A science book, an atheist, a Muslim, are non-sentient things ? Science book yes but do you see the irony here?

First, an athiest IS a person.
I think it's human nature to personify things so we can understand them better. We realize a bowling ball isn't a person, but maybe if we add humanistic qualities to it while it's under observation, we can understand better how it rolls, what would make it skip off to the side of the lane, and why it knocks over pins.
That help any?

You are on to something here :)
I will hand you a clue and see what you do with it.
You know how you can spot a non conformist? They all look, sound, and act exactly alike.
Step back and read some of the questions and answers here in R&S. I bet you will find it looks like all the Anti Christ are the same person with 200 Yahoo accounts. Same with the evolutionist. Same with us Christians.
I wonder why that is?

we all hv that need to personify or tag ,with it we can see them or it in our minds easier ,christians do it with certain things because it is a prejudgement label they have already been told step back these are sinners they believe something else ,bad people ,close minds look one way ,what did i read. we see it a lot cause christians are trying to push their idealogy into the american political forum and create a political base.sad america is based on religious freedom and they are free because of it.the blind trying to lead the blind

Because Christians are human, and they try to make things sound more relatable. Jesus could have been another animal, but they made him human because humans think they are the highest and best creature, therefore everything is connected to being human.
Or it could be that the religeon was made up by someone and wanted themselves to be part of the whole thing.

Sorry, you are doing the exact same thing-taking a large group and making a single stereotype.
See how easy that trap is?
