i have a little dachshund-terrier mix and she's 2 years old and she's got so much gas all the sudden

i swear it's like a bomb goes off every 20 minutes.
also i think she might've gotten into some moose-munch half chocolate bar (with little soft turd surprises outside) or could cream cheese do it??

how did this all the sudden happen

Dog food is for dogs. Human food is for humans. Feed your dog dog food.

Well, chocolate is very unhealthy for dogs, and too much can be fatal. I have an english-mastiff and I took him to the vet for his gas problem. The vet told me that the dog was growing rapidly and that this would come in spurts. All and all, it could be that as your dog ages they (just like humans) become more gas e . :) Good luck!

all people food will be a surprise to the dogs digestive system, and some of it can actually be harmful to the dog, especially chocolate. for treats, stick to dog treats made for dog and keep people food out of reach to prevent your dog from feeling bad with an upset stomach.

Cream cheese could definitely do it. My dog has a very sensitive stomach, and we can't feed her anything but dog food, otherwise she starts getting very gassy.

Be careful of what they are getting in to outside - our dog kept drinking from our fountain in the garden, so she got very sick from that.

You shouldn't be feeding your dog chocolate because it is toxic for dogs, it can kill them, as for cheese, this gives them diarreah, they are not supposed to eat dairy foods.
Your dog has gas because it has nutritional deficiencies, make sure that you feed it all the right vitamins and minerals and steer clear from junk.

both can do it. what kind/brand of dog food is she eating? if it is a cheap food, that can also cause gas issues. oh, for the record, NO CHOCOLATE, its not healthy/good for a dog to eat it, small ones especially. and the cream-cheese, why did she eat that?? not good either.

Chocolate is not good for dogs and can be poisonous. Neither is cream cheese. Dogs should not be given any food other than dog food and dog treats. Human food is not good for dogs.

chocolate is not good for dogs, if she just ate it within an hour you should make her throw up with salt, she'll most likely be okay in a while
