I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing a rough patch. Try to remember it is just that and you will get through. Try to see it as a crossroads or turning point, especially with you job situation. Although hard and painful it is an opportunity to find a better situation in the long run. In school try to analyze what went wrong this semester and how you can improve for next. Sometimes we just have a lousy patch though so don't beat yourself up. Especially when you are going through a difficult time its important to be good to yourself and take care of yourself. We all feel sad sometimes and it is really natural when you are experience life's difficulties. Try to take some time to do something nice and relaxing. Walk a dog in the park, get a massage from a loved one, chat with a friend over coffee, etc... I hope things will look up soon! =)

You know flunking, or not doing as well as you normally do isn't the end of the world. I remember going to college after doing very well in High School. I was an honor student. Now College and High School are two very different things. The first paper I wrote cam e back to me with the following red writing: "The professors here at ****** University are not interested in your opinion unless it is published and on our library shelves 38% Yeah Um to say the least I was mortified. Now I am 30. I laugh about it now. (although I feel a little squimish writing it down in here)...lol So feel free to laugh at me. You will get through it. Just have a little fun and stay focused on the end result. You are not the first and you won't be the last. All it means is that you are human. That's not such a bad thing is it?
Peace.

I'm sorry. :( Life can really turn on us at times. You probably don't feel it right now but you DO have the power in you to turn things around. As far as the job goes maybe the feelings you are having about quitting is the right way to go. I don't know your financial situation but if you can get by until you find another job then maybe you should quit. And is it possible that the job situation could have been causing the problems with school? Look at the big picture and you WILL find the answers. Good Luck!

Well my friend, tomorrow is another day. You quit that job, a bright guy like you can easily get another and better job. Tomorrow you focus a little harder on your studies and before you know it, you will be on the top again. We have to feel sad now and then. There is not a single person on this planet who has never felt sad. We feel sad in order to feel happy. It is just your turn right now and you know, as well as I know, that it will not last for ever. Tomorrow is a new beginning. Look forward and stop focusing on the past.

So you're in a slump. Life goes up and down. Take it in stride and smile because you know you'll soon be in an upswing. Life is also full of beauty and kindness which can seem to disappear when we get so focused on ourselves and our problems. Try to come out of yourself and do something kind for someone...that will open you up to the love that surrounds you and move you into a more positive frame of mind. Tender hug and warm vibes coming your way. Love.

Everyone gets depressed now and then; it is only natural (especially this time of year). But just think that every day is a new adventure, and that it is usually for the good; not bad. Besides there will be a brand new year beginning in just a few days, and just prepare yourself for some wonderful new beninnings in your life personally. Best of luck !

The job isn't working out. The semester didn't go well.
Is there any room for personal responsibility in there? What did you do, or fail to do, that contributed to your situation?
Figure that out and change whatever you have to change in yourself. Then things will get better, and you will feel better.
Happiness doesn't just come, you have to work at it. If you're underachieving, that's going to make you unhappy, so try harder.

No matter how bad things seem, they really do get better. Sometimes the struggles are a prequel to something better. Some years ago I went through a difficult divorce and thought that my life was over... things have turned around. It always does.
Best of luck!

Try and praise God anyway. I mean that literally. Sing out to God, call out to God in your trouble. There is no greater deliverance. Pray and seek his face. Even if it means expressing your anger and frustration to God. He's only a prayer away. And sing and worship God. It has a fullfilling way that i don't know what else does...nothing else. I will pray for you. You can make it. Praise God in your work and you school. I pray God centers you this coming semester and giudes you through your new classes and work issues.
In Christ
