Am I doing the right thing?

My dad caught me i.m.ing late one night, so he told me to give him my computer... he read everylove message that me and my friend sent to each other... he took away my computer and phone for a week, and now I have to show him my messages before I delete them.... My friend and I aren't going out yet but my dad thinks we were... the love I have for my friend will never change because of my dad, I just have to be sneeky about it... so I talked to my friend about it and he's planning on asking me out, he said he's just waiting for the right moment.... we plan on making out next time we see each other after break... My question is : am I doing the right thing by living with the principles of love conquers all, and not just giving up on this guy I love just because my dad says so? What should I do about the whole situation?Please help!!!

I see him all the time, and we met in robotics, cause we're both on our schools robotics team doing computing stuff. O and we never talked dirty until like this last week. lol.

O and my dad found out about us about 3 weeks ago.

Your dad's opnions and your opinions are different ( but i think you already know that) . Yes, you are doing the right thing because I don't see why your dad gets to control who you can and can't love. If you love this guy, that's great! Don't let your dad get in the way of that because pretty soon he's going to realise that there's nothing he can do!

same thing happend to me ! i carried on talking to the guy like behind his back to be honest your not doing anything wrong whats wrong with harmless fliting?. I can understand if it was dirty messages but from your ques it doesn't seem as though that is the case. I can also understand what your dads thinking he might think your too young etc and hes only protecting you. What i think you should do is talk to your dad be like can i start dating andseeing this boy make sure he knows you wont do anything inappropriate ie sex tell him to trust you . And ask him if you can make a set of rules about it ie meet the boy before dates, a set time to be back home. I hope this works.

Your dad seems a little crazy. But how old are you? If you are at least 13 then he needs to back off and relise that your not a little girl anymore and see that you are going to start likeing guys. Do you have older siblings that got in trouble a lot? That could be why he is this over protected. You should prolly talk to your dad and mom if she is apart of your life.

You dad wants to make sure your talking nasty stuff and doing cyber sex with someone.
Be honest with your Dad, you cant lie parents always find out.
Let him chat with him would make him feel more comfortable know his daughters not being with a real pervie.

well first off i feel bad for you cuz of your dad he rly has no right doig that hes just over protective i guess

and idk you can always hook up w/ this kid and like still do stuff couples do w/o actually going out...just take it slow and do whats best for you w/o getting caught
