What is true love?

When it's both a conscious and an unconscious choice. When your heart and mind both agree. You accept the other person's good and bad side, all the nice little things and their faults. And you don't question your choice at all. When this is true for both people then you could say it's true love.

It is Unconditional. It recognises that you DO NOT OWN the object of your love.
If you truly love someone then you will always put them First.
If that means leaving the object of your affection alone then so be it.

It's amazing how much misery is caused by someone who thinks they are in love but have really confuse love with infatuation or lust.
That's what leads to Stalking or Harassment or Pestering or Jealous acts. Someone who has True Love may be disapointed and miserable if they're rejected but they would Never interfere or take agressive action.

When you think that you're experiencing that emotion then do a "sanity-check" and consider what your reaction would be if they preferred someone else.
If you always want their happiness before your own (without imposing Your Will at any time or for any reason) then you probably have True Love.

True love is the same love you have for your family.Thats true love.You love them and they love you even if you dont always see eye to eye.If you find true love both of you will feel the same way about each other regardless about what they look like or where there from.

Ive never found true love yet but ive been in love a few times but the other person didnt feel the same way.When the other person feels the same way about you then you have found true love.

its great if youve got the person
but not so great if you cant have them

but its like this:
theyll have annoying little habits that everyone hates but you love
you smile everytime you see them
laugh at everything they say
want to be with them every minute of every day
would do ANYTHING for them
cant help yourself looking at them
trying to get nearer to them everytime theyre in the vicinity

thats how i feel anyway even though most of them sound like lust haha
