There is this guy that I know, and I'm pretty positive that he knows me to, but we have never really spoken[let's call him F]... I always see him in the hall staring at me and so do all my friends, even the ones who don't know what he looks like. They say, "Why is that guy staring at you? Who is he?" He talks to his friend[j] in my grade[F is 2 years older], but I was talking to j today and F avoided talking to j. F started staring at us and it looked like he was really angry. Do you find this weird or what? HELP!
And also I know this is nothing, but I wore my soccer sweatshirt to school and he saw me. The next day he wore his.
I'm in 7th grade and he is in 9th grade.

oh i bet he likes you!!
heres why i think he does..
1. he stares at you ALL THE TIME. and why would he if he didnt have a thing for you?
2. he was angry when his friend, who probably knows he likes you, was talking to you. he was probably jealous and annoyed because he was the one that should be talking to you, not his friend!
3. he saw you wear a soccer sweatshirt, and thought you would notice him if he wore his too.
4. also, he noticed you enough to see what you were wearing, and thats saying something too!

this guy probally likes you but isn't sure how to approach you and so he's staring at you to study you and as far as his friend (j) well he was probablly wondering what the 2 of you were talking about.and he got defensive because he was afraid that (j) might say something to you that he had said to them.i have 3 boys all grown now but youngest is 18 and i remeber going through the same stuff with him liked this girl but didn't know if she would like him and he was a little older than her so he would ask other friends questions about her and then finally one day he talked to her and they hit it off and the rest is history they are still best friends even though they only dated for 6 months

well what he did to you could mean somthing, or nothing. alot of times guys look at me and i think they like me but they r starin at me for other reasons. somtimes it is because they like me. In your situation i would just go talk to him without getting nervous or jumpy. pretend hes just another regular guyfriend. if he sees the funny person i bet you are, hew ill probly get more interested. Also when your talking to him try to start a decent conversation. like what the state football team did or how you killed the other team in soccer : D
but oviously talking about shopping or sales would be a big no-no:P when your talking to guys make sure your really flirty, but not clingy.(if your not comfertable with being a flirt,then just make sure u know how to talk to him. i say flirty is a better way cuz most guys like it and thats how i get my guys;) ) for example like if he says he just got a job at a ice cream parlor, instead of sayin cool say mm maybe i should come down for some(with a smile on yur face) and if the bell for the next class rings or u have to go in some way say like "save me a spot" or somthing like that. Ok your in 7th grade.. He may think your cute.. but your age difference right now is a big one. If you were 19 and 17 not a big deal but right now it is. SO be careful
and the sweatshirt thing is nothing!

Uhm, if he liked you, a ninth grader would have the balls to come over and say "Hi" at least.
You're diving too much to find suggestions of him liking you.
If you really want to find out, stop beating around the bush and tell him "Hi". Read his body language and verbal language, and see where everything progresses. If you catch eyes with eachother in the hallway and he doesn't even wave, give up.

I would ask you not to waste time on this stuff. But you look quite curious, so why not go and ask. He is not going to eat you. Whatever there is would be clear and you will come out of this "what if, may be" condition.

Maybe he wants to be friends and just doesn't know what to say or he's afraid u may reject him as a friend. Try talking to him first.

Yeah he likes you go talk to him and he was mad when you were talking to j because he probably thought that he was telling on him cause he probably told him he liked you
