I don't see anything wrong with it. I keep lotion in my kids bathroom and tell my boy and girls to use it. I hate when their skin dries out around their nails and they pick at it until they bleed. Not only that, but my husband uses cocoa butter. His skin is incredibly dry in the winter and if he doesn't use it, his skin looks really bad. So just try to get him a lotion you think is "boy smelling" and don't worry about it.

Oh good grief, I wouldn't worry about it!! It's just lotion for crying out loud. Now if you were letting him play with makeup, that would be another story, but even then, he is only 2 and at that age, children are not role playing so much as they are experimenting with cause and effect. Playing with lotion and makeup is just a fun thing for kids that age to do to see what happens and what it looks like. I would just relax about it, but I would make sure that when any child plays with makeup, lotion or any substances, that they are supervised because they also like to put things in their mouth at that age too. I remember when I was in kindergarten, there were always those kids who ate paste. Once when I was 6 or 7, someone dared me to drink bleach and I did. Bleach feels horrible when it comes back up. I am now 46 and to this day, I can still remember that sensation. Kids need to be supervised if they are going to experiment with substances of any kind or it could have disastrous consequences. Other than that however, I see nothing wrong with a little boy playing with lotion.

at the beginning who ever mentioned a 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous is "gay" is loopy. How can a man or woman have a sexual decision while they don't even understand what intercourse is? He could like doing those issues because of the fact he's close with you. additionally Hannah Montana may well be for the track. All toddlers love different toddlers. no remember the intercourse, they're fascinated in way of them. Now a days even adult adult males have there ears pierced, and who would not wanna be a rock megastar (and rock stars have there ears pierced)? To me it feels like he has fairly some woman in his life. toddlers tips on the thank you to act by staring at and coping the persons around him, so if mom, and grandma continuously the place around and not lots dad and granddad, that's ordinary habit. What you may desire to do is attempt putting him in karate. There are the two boys and females, plus interior the initiating he would be status in a line coping the instructor. possibly you may desire to even come across a Mommy and me classification, that way your doing it at the same time although that is not "girly". or possibly you're able to be a splash greater boyish, like pass out and toss a ball around, Play a splash be rougher with him, pass fishing, you recognize be the "suitable dad". It feels like he's coping you, so do all the flaws you think of he must be doing.

Lotion will never turn a boy into a girl but it will make one heck of a mess in your house. My daughter climbed on the bathroom counter to get the lotion out of her reach and I found it on the doors, walls, and shower curtain. Playing with lotion is something that only happens once.

of course it is ok, children imitate what their main carers do anyway so he has probably just seen you use it and he wants to role play that, it wont make him 'girly' that is just myths.
children have to learn about everythin around them so why keep the so called 'girly' things out of the picture just like we allow boys to play with dolls because one day they will be a father and will rock, dress, cuddle a baby then.
just like we allow girls to play with cars and boys to dress up in dresses, it means nothin it is actually good for them to grow up with both types of toys it makes them see the world from a positive and non biased point of view.
as long as the lotion cant be swallowed and isnt dangerous to a child, maybe instead you could ask him to put some on your face or his if its ok for his skin, that way he wont get it everywhere and he can imitate how you would use it.
its very important to NOT make children biased about what they can and cant play with also it could effect them at school, imagine if your child wanted to try stitching or cooking at school, if these were classed as girly things, then he wouldnt even try; then how would he learn about these skills, also later he may see certain subjects at school as 'girly' and not try in them then his grades in those subjects would slip; i know it's quite a distant thought at the moment because of his age but things that happen to a child now will effect them later on.
good luck and have fun

he's 2, who cares at that age. my 4 yr old is obsessed with my hairdryer, I let him dry my hair sometimes. And he likes playing with my hair too. I see no problem with little boys playing with girly things.
