As not all languages of the world are connected, but have developed without having been in touch over centuries, there is not a single word that is alike in literally .every. language on the planet. Not even "stop", even though that is very widely spread will not be understood by everybody. In the Western Hemisphere, probably. The rest of this world, no safe bet.
You can see that some languages take over words from other languages, such as English simply uses "kindergarten" as well (that one is German) etc. you can also spot which languages belong to the same, let's say: language "family", by looking at words. Both the French "père" and the Spanish "padre" derive from its Latin origin "pater" - all Romanic Languages. Next higher level would be all Indoeuropean Languages, including "father" in English and "Vater" in German ... you can see the relations, even though those languages don't use the same single word.

*Every* country? No. But if I recall correctly, according to a book called "The Meaning of Tingo", which I read a few months ago, two words with the most international recognition are "OK" and "taxi".

Yes and No. ( and that is the answer - not no I don't know.) Even countries that have others words for no or yes - most people understand no and yes.
