What version of Windows are you using, that information would be of great help in answering this question.
For Windows XP:
Go into your Computer folder, right click on your CD/DVD icon, select Properties, and then click on the Autoplay tab.
Click on the radial dial button in from of Select an action to perform.
In the drop down list, select the type of media on the CD you wish to set Autoplay options for.
In the list of programs, select which one you wish to open the files on the CD with.
Click Ok, and the program will now open whenever you insert a CD with those types of files on it.
For Vista:
There are two methods for setting Autoplay settings:
If you have not yet setup Autoplay for a particular data or media type, a window will appear when you insert media asking you what you wish to do.
Place a check mark in Alwyas do this for X CDs. With X the media type, such as music, video, etc.
This sets the program you choose as Default for opening that type of media.
If you wish to change a Default you already set to a different program, do this:
Start, choose Default Programs, and then choose Change AuotPlay Settings. A dialog box appears which offers a drop down menu of possible programs you can use for each media type. Make you selection form this list and then click Save.
Hope this helps, good luck and have a nice weekend.
