Only solution to such a condition is take a break from whatever u have been trying to do so hard since the past few days or months watever, since u've not retained anything since the past 2 days is proof enuf ur overdoing things....take a break and focus on some rest or something different then wat u've been trying to do.....

Move ur focus to something relaxing and soothing to ur mind. Ur stressing ur brain far too much and it's just going to go in a continuous loop. Our brain is just like a complicated computer u need to shut it down sometime....

So go for a walk, join some paragliding session, skate on ice, go swimming, fishing, join a gym, but most of all sleep and relax. After 8 days try doing wat u were doing again u'd most definately do it well.

On top of all that u r supposed to relax urself for better productivity levels buddy. No relaxing no fun ur at a loss not anybody else.

I saw your other "question" about having a panic attack. I believe you need to go outdoors for a while, exercise your muscles and give your brain a rest. Run, ride a bike, play football, play frisbee, something like that. Do this for a couple of hours, and don't even think about studying until you come back inside.

If anyone gives you a hard time about it, just tell them the professor gave you permission. :-]

That used to happen to me occasionally when I was in college. The periods usually lasted about three days. I'd read something and immediately forget what I read. I found it useless to study at these times. It stopped happening after a while, and I never found out what it was, but I suspect it had to with my diet at the time. I would suggest you mention it to your doctor or a medical professional at your school--assuming you are still in school.

There are two ways to succeed in life. One is to set yourself a very lofty goal and then strive with all your might until you eventually attain it. The other is to set yourself a very modest target and then glow with false pride once you score your all too predictable bull's-eye. This second option hardly appeals to you. Your standards are high and your aspirations are higher still. You are now trying to accomplish something delicate. You can hardly complain, then, because it is not turning out to be easy!
