It is interesting how life works out, isn't it. When negative things happen to me, just for an instant, I start that feeling of "why did this happen", then I stop myself.
I have been "stopping myself" for a few years now, because looking back on my whole life I see that EVERYTHING that happened to be, positive and negative, led me to where I am today, in a good place.
Sometimes it was a house that I really wanted, and it was bought from under me. I was devastated, because I loved it so. Because of that I moved to another town and years later I realized what a blessing it had been, that I had not got that first house.
If anything devastating happens to you, materially, say to yourself "Everything is going to be O.K. I let go and let God"
and just wait a little while and you will see the reasoning behind it.
I know that some will think about the death of a loved one as being a devastation, which of course, it is to us personally.
Now, when this type of pain occurs, I try to think that, deep down somewhere, the person that passed away, is better off than when they lived on this earth, and that softens the blow somewhat. You hear of people with cancer stating that is was the best thing that ever happened to them, because their outlook on life had changed for the better.
Please understand, I do not know the answer to everybody's disapointment and pain, but I have learned, in my own life, that the disapointments, the turmoils, the upsets in my life, were there to give me a different direction.
There are so many questions in this life, but I do agree with you. that, if we wait and see, 99.3/4 of the time, a negative turns into a positive in the future

Bob isn't in elementary terms perfect yet Bob's answer is totally consistent with the present thinking in quantum mechanics that the mere commentary adjustments the effect of specific experiments. between the biggest issues of information is that the conventional public of folk who use them don't have a clue approximately information. you're saying "we" have achieved statistical finding out. in case you have been in touch as your use of the term "we" shows the place are your outcomes? on account which you haven't any longer written your outcomes interior the way a statistician could i'm suggesting you're utilising the term "we" to point contributors of the human race of which you're additionally a member, or possibly you're utilising "we" to point you're making a great distinction between people who have faith in a prayer answering God and people who do no longer and you're which incorporate your self interior the latter team. the two way, you're making mere assertions that are actually not supported by means of genuine information. Your so-referred to as test is equivalent to a documentary I as quickly as observed the place extremely some non secular human beings have been praying for specific terminally ill human beings. This grew to become right into a television stunt that had no scientific value i'm afraid. For an test to be scientifically valid you ought to have the skill to regulate all your variables and this grew to become into no longer something like a controlled surroundings.

Yes. Entirely agree. In 1975 He said no. Actually He said 'not just yet' but I heard 'no'. In the end it changed my life. For the better? No idea. But the desires of the past are no more.
The hardest thing at the moment to me is to yearn for the blessing of others and not see it. Hence patience is required. If you pray for patience be prepared to wait a very long time!

the prayers that He answered in ways you did not appreciate ,
But prayer is not lost ever ,
it may benefit you in 3 ways ,
1 - exactly the wanted thing is granted ,
2 - some better is granted or any evil is avoided ,
3 - nothing is given is response to the prayer , but it is stored for the hereafter ,
And when we'll see the rewards of our "prayers stored for the hereafter" ,
We 'll wish that all of our lifetime's prayers may have been stored .

Looking back, there were ocassions where i prayed for job security for my husband and weeks later, he was laid off. I then understood that God had a different plan for him, my husband found a job 2 weeks later at a car shop where the owner and all the employees were believers. Which was answer the prayer of helping my husband get a strong hold on faith because it felt like he had be getting away.

There are always things in life that we didn't get that are for the best. I often think of how I wasted 24 years being married to a man who didn't love me. I think to myself would I have done the same thing again, if I had known. I have to say yes. The reason being are my two sons. I wouldn't trade them for anything. That time also makes me appreciate the man in my life now. He is wonderful and sweet and loving. That time made me who I am now.

In one way or another, my prayers have been answered. Things that I asked for and did not recieve was probably for the better. OR some of those things are still on the "wait" list. God's judgement is no-doubt better than mine will ever be!

Actually, I asked my Toaster and It answered and I am thankful. There were only three answers that It gave, yes no and wait. Every one came true and I thank It daily for the wisdom and guidance it gave me and I can only hope that one day I will have the honour of being resurrected as a piece of bread so that I will be able to enter It's Kingdom. Hail Toaster for I am truly blessed.

Yes,I certainly can. HE knows what is best, always.
Thank God for prayers that He did not answer in the way that I was hoping He would.
