If you don't have a complication tax situation then do it yourself. I have been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years. There is others around like TaxCut. These are usually around $40. A professional will probably charge you $100 - $200+ depending on your situation.

Nothing. For the last several years, I've used a IRS' Free File Alliance partner, H & R Block, and do my own for free.
I use them to e-file my federal return. Then I go to my state's dept. of revenue and e-file my state return for free.

I have a tax accountant(CPA) do my. I don't want any problems with IRS. I pay anywhere from $65.00 to $100.00. I personally would not go to H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt some are only open during tax season and if you have a problem arise with your taxes you can go to them.
