I have yet to find a treat my girl will eat. She's not really food motivated at all. Of course my boy thinks his kibble is the best treat there is and he's stupid enough not to realize that it's just regular dog food, and yes he actually is really dumb. It does smell to high heaven though so maybe that's it, it's a salmon meal food and smells like fish food EW. (barking at the moon by solid gold, smells awful but is a great food and my dogs go nuts over it)
For training though I buy Dick van pattens Natural Balance dog food rolls and pinch of tiny bits as treats. I like using mushy treats for obedience so they dont fill up so fast and lose interest. Plus it's great for mushing onto agility equipment and doesn't fall off lol. My trainer uses bil-jack frozen crap but I won't use it and bought the better quality stuff.

My dog also prefers wet treats, but will do just about anything for a stick. She's kind of a chewer.
She also liked some cheap training treats from Petsmart before I knew better, and whatever I'm eating.

If you go to a pet store of vet's office they often have a great display of treats that are suitable for your dog. Choose with the advise of a vet as you don't want your dog to become overweight or unhealthy. Best treat for any dog of course is a bit of rough play... a bit of tug of war or wrestling. They love that more than getting their bellies filled.
Cheers

Canidae snap biscuits are the favorite here, I love that they snap apart easily and can be broken into smaller chunks for my small dogs. They all seem to be obsessed with bacon as well, and any chewy treats like marrow bones and basic garbage but I figure I eat some junk every now and then and so can they, They are on a great dog food (Canidae)

My dogs like Tiny Tots and LA Treats by Solid Gold, I really like these because they are easy to break off into very tiny pieces. They also really like Charlie bear treats.
I do not use too many store bought treats because my dogs are raw fed, I actually prefer to freeze dry liver and use that for training. My dogs are really picky when it comes to treats and finding one they will eat is a challenge.

I make my own dog treats. Ever since the dog food scare, I just can't bring myself to buy anymore. So I guess mine would be Dawn's Crunchy Meat Treats for Dogs.

My dogs are raw fed, and usually I just make my own treats. However, they LOVE Innova EVO treats and just plain Innova treats also, which I find good for supplementing.
They also eat carrots and every once in a while I'll buy them each a can of dog food and heat it up for them.

For training treats I want something that my dog won`t just sit there and chew on for a few minutes so I use Red Barn, or If I have the time I`ll cook up some breakfast sausage.
Either way I`ll chop it up into bite size pieces and put it in my bait bag.

I love Innova Evo treats. No fillers for my dog. Also, steer clear of cheese. Dogs do not produce enough lactase to breack down the lactose in it and it can cause a stomach blockage. Carrots are also very good for your dog and the help fight Periodontal disease.
