Do you prefer the Douay-Rheims Bible or the New American Bible ?

I kind of like the King James version, actually, but received the New American Bible as a wedding gift ten years ago. The NAB is nice because it has some great footnotes in it, but I don't always agree with the editor's interpretation.

I have both. Online I prefer the Douay-Rheims, at home the NAB

I prefer the Revised Standard Catholic (Ignatius)
I like the Douay for its majestic language(at times) but the New American for its footnotes
I also read the Jerusalem and New Jerusalem

I use DRB, NAB, RSV, and the Jerusalem Bible routinely and almost interchangably. NAB is handy because (in the US, anyway) it's the source for the Mass readings, but for Bible study I prefer doing it comparatively among the translations. The Navarre Bible is excellent for study, as well. (I also have KJV, NIV, and other commonly used Protestant translations -- because familiarity with them is necessary when discussing Scripture with non-Catholic Christians.)

Neither, the King James' Bible is my favorite because the style is more elevated.
