I really want to change my hair, the only problem is I can't get it cut or styled much because I'm a ballet dancer and I have to be able to put my hair in a bun. So I think I want to dye my hair blonde.
maybe like this color

(my hair is actually a little darker than that, the flash made it look lighter)

What do you think, be honest, I don't want to look like a freak

Yes, but take it slow. Just try highlights for now. Eventually after a few highlight sessions you will have Laurens color.

I think your color is actually Lauren's natural hair color.

You will look cute with that hair color.

i think you'd make a good blonde. I mean, i'm not sure if i'd recommend going straight to platinum blonde (even though it might actually work...) ,or anything, but a medium to dark golden blonde (like in the pic) should suit you fine. You actually look a lot like Jessica Alba and she can switch from brunette to blonde effortlessly, so i don't think it should be a problem for you. It might be difficult to dye blonde over brunette yourself, though, because shades lighter than your natural color don't always take, but i'm sure a salon could give you the perfect shade of blonde that looks the best on you.

I have the same hair and skin colours as you. I did it. But two things to watch for:
a. you should make sure that if the darkest part of your hair is lighter than your eyebrows, you should lighten your eyebrows too.
b. Go to a good salon because you don't want to end up having bleach on your brown hair eventually turn your hair orange. I tried to go blonde the first time, and it turned orangey after time because the blonde faded. That and your roots will mean it is a lot of maintanence. You may what to ask a professional what will be the most cost effective and least damaging way to go blonde.

Yes, but try to get highlights before you actually go all blonde. You have a nice skin tone with pretty brown hair. Just get highlights first. Select more of a natural highlighting color rather than a light one. Just like Lauren's!
