ok this zit is completely embarrassing! it's on the area underneath my nose that separates the nostrils, and yesterday, i squeezed on it so hard, that now it's swollen. GRRR!! i use proactiv, but i don't use it as much as i should, i know that.reason #1: i used it for a straight week and it dryed my skin out and made my cheeks all itchy, but they weren't red or anything. so now i use it about twice a week, and it's not so bad. so what should i do to get rid of this thing under my nose, it hurts to even touch it. what about the drying out of my face. if you have any advice, it would be really appriciated, thanks.

Try putting soap on it(preferably anti-bacterial like safeguard)get your finger wet and rub the bar of soap and put that on there. It will dry it up, and keep it clean at the same time. Put it on at night and leave it till morning if you can. Or you could use a Q-tip soaked with alcohol, ouch.!

I use proactiv and at first it dried out my skin too. What I did was I started using the cleanser and toner everyday and the repairing lotion every other day. Eventually my skin got used to it and now I can use it everyday. Sometimes my skin gets a little dry from the weather and whatnot so sometimes I use a little bit of Cetaphil moisturizer after I use the repairing lotion to combat the dryness.
For your pimple, the best thing you can do it put a warm washcloth on it for like 10 minutes 2-3 times a day. It will draw the pus to the surface so you can squeeze it out. If you have any of that masque stuff that comes in the proactiv kit you could put a little bit of that on your pimple too after you put the warm washcloth on it.
I know those pimples near the nose area hurt, so I hope yours goes away soon!

If it's acne im afraid there is nothing you can do, but it doesn't sound like acne because u usually get that on ur cheeks or forehead. I used tea tree products everyday, and i havn't had a spot in ages. With zits, when the top of them goes white it is puss and thats when u squeeze it. After you've squeezed it but disinfectant on it. If nothing works see a doctor. Hope this helps x

Well about your nose, i hate to say it but you're going to have to let it grow before you can actually pop it. But if you want to be impatient, get really warm water or hot and soak the pimple in the water for 20 minutes then try squeezing the puss out.
And water I do is after I take a shower/wash my face I rub ice on my face to close to pores to reduce my chances of getting ance, then I pat my face dry and rub in two coats of lotion. This keeps my face moist and soft!
