No. No really knows what happened to the Ark of the Covenant. If it exists today it's hidden away in a church or at the temple mount in Israel. And you have to remember there was more than one ark. So the possibilities are endless.

No, it was taken up to Heaven when Jerusalem was being overrun by invaders.
