It's all in the attitude. Blond women tend to be nastier than brunettes. If I found a blond with a good heart, I'd probably like her over a brunette with a good heart (my own personal preference of physical traits,) but sadly, I haven't found any kind, loving blond women....

Personal prefference or could be to do with the fact that there are more brunettes in the world then blondes. There are NATURALLY less then 3% ginger people, 8% blonde and the rest is mostly brunette or black haired. :D But of course a lot of people dye their hair blonde or red so yeah

My friend once told me that blondes stand out in a crowd because there is less blonde people where we live (Toronto, Canada).I think if you were a brunette in a country with a lot of blondes, you'd stand out. I think being able to be spotted in a crowd makes guys notice you more.
Otherwise, if you mean why do guys like blonde celebs and things like that, I don't think it's just the hair colour.

I can only speak for myself but looks and hairstyle don't matter to me. I like someone who has a brain and can hold down a conversation.

Why do hair shampo or any product commercials always get a brunette model and not a blonde ? there has to be something special about them

Err we don't. What kind of moon man talk is that!? Teehee. I like platinum blonde (a.k.a dyed blonde), black-brunette (a.k.a. dyed black), and metallic / shiny red (a.k.a. dyed red). All the fake colors !
