i also have an ulcer. at one point i was only able to drink water...by you saying u have an ulcer, im assuming that u have been 2 the doc.?if not, u probably need 2 get a script for something like prevacid, nexium, prilosec, etc. this helps. i have been able 2 eat anything i want now. try eating 6 small meals a day, and drink skim milk with food.also avoid starving yourself, as this will irritate an ulcer if your stomach stays empty. if u cant drink skim, try calcium supp. or eat ice cream or cheese. dont drink a lot of caffiene, as this irritates an ulcer. limit that to 2 servings a day or less if it irritates u.hope this helps. good luck.

I had one before and dringking milk especially with sugar won't help. First avoid drinks with cola and caffein. Don't let yourself starve if you feel you're hungry eat a litte biscuit or crackers. If ever you get hungry don't eat too much too soon, first eat a little soup before eating something heavy. Also avoid drinking orange juice or citrus fruit when hungry. Try to eat less food but more often because overeating may make you bloat. Hope this help. Mines not totally gone but the attacks are more seldom.

Yes - you should definitely eat differently. Keep notes of the foods &/or drinks that make your stomach hurt. You could simply be lactose intolerant, which means that your digestive system cannot handle the lactose in dairy foods. If that is the case, talk to your doctor or better yet, a dietician to find out what alternatives there are to the foods & drinks that you like.
Good luck. I hope it all works out and you are feeling much better.
