Well in the 70 we went through a mini ice age or so it was dubbed. Now we are having a warming trend or so they say. The media and even the "inventer of the internet" are scaring the hell out of every one for selfish reasons. Dooms day is lurking, devestation is looming! The question is what if it it a good thing? What would be the possitive aspects of so called Global Warming"?

Some colder areas will see improvements in agriculture. Some areas may get less or more precipitation and be better off. For example the maple syrup industry seems to be moving from Vermont into Canada.

But more areas will see temperature and precipitation changes that are harmful. Vermont maple syrup farmers are not happy.

And the big thing is that coastal flooding and damage to agriculture will cost a huge amount of money for most countries to deal with. Enough to likely drive the world into an economic Depression.

So nobody really wins. Details here:

It's clearly better to reduce the problem. (we can't totally stop it, it's already gone too far.)

Increased temperatures will result in longer growing seasons, higher crop production (increased carbon dioxide levels are a plus), less fuel for heating (more for cooling), and stimulation of new innovations and fuel sources are all positive benefits.

It is allowing power hungry opportunistist a way to expand their schemes to control other people's lives and now we can clearly see who these people are. Soon the earth will start naturally cooling again and these people, Al Gore chief among them, will be the laughing stock of the planet and no one will pay serious attention to them for the rest of their lives.

It was predicted in the 1980`s That 1000 mile per hour winds would go across earth. predictions are a dime a dozen.
