This is a spelling issue I've endured for my entire life. It stops today with your help?!

Maybe it's just England but I actually read that:
when it's computer-related "program" or a verb "to program" it's PROGRAM and when it's a course of study or a television show it's PROGRAMME. Check your facts. ;-)

Program is American spelling.
Programme is British.

The difference is about 3,147 miles.

The distance between the UK and the US. We spell stuff closer to French, they changed the spelling to suit their needs.
