You seem not to understand that Christians should be promoting vegan. According to the Bible, the original diet was fruits, vegetables, nuts and whole grain. And see how long those people lived before the flood! After the flood, God permitted some animal as food but nobody, except the priests, were under any obligation to eat animal flesh.

A well-balanced vegetarian diet is much better than one including animal products viewed from a financial, health and ecological perspective.

Any reason to become a Vegan is a good reason I suppose. It is contradictory to the - "have dominion over the animals" bit in the Bible. But hey, I am always happy to see Christians acting morally, it's a sign that their religion is dying.

5000 points! Now I'm going to bed!

it depends on the reason, the mebers of the early Churhc did go vegan from time to time-Wensday Friday and before major feast days.
The differnce between a Gnostic and a Christian going Vegan, was the gnostic said meat was a sin and the Christian Vegan gave it up out of pios abstenance

He had colon cancer and was cured through the program he is now on

Personally I believe we should eat all things in moderation

Jesus ate lamb and fish we know, probably ate calves meat also as they did in the old Testament
I don't think it was a daily thing maybe an ocassional meal of meat or fish
we know they had Passover Lamb (Jews) etc:

The funniest thing about preachers is that anyone listens to them at all. Here in the UK when a guy starts shouting about God and waving their hands about, we tranquilize them with a dart and give em a jacket that laces up at the front.

It is kinda odd when you consider that the central sacrament of their religion is practicing Ritual Cannabalism on their God.

But, outside of the Jesuit Order of Priests, logic or consistency have never had much place in Christianity.

I don't listen to a preacher. I listen to God.
