We have known each other most of our lives and are in our late 40's. He comes home from work every day and doesn't go anywhere until work the next day so I know he's not messing around on me. But when I ask him - nicely - about having sex he becomes almost enraged. I know he has a sex drive because he masterbates at least once daily. I am a size 10-12 so I am not obese or anything. And I am told I look ten+ years younger than I am .
We have been together for four years -- please advise..

What is really interesting is that he tells me very often how much he loves me, more than he's ever loved anyone. He talks about our long term future -- but would like to me be a size 2 to be perfect to him.

Doesn't seem to be a good relationship.
If he doesn't sleep with you or is refusing to have sex than there is a barrier of some kind here.
Either he really has no love or desire for you , or perhaps he has a personal problem of his own.
This sounds like it may possibly be a "convenience" living arrangement.
Have you asked him any questions about this relationship??
If not, then you should!
If he refuses any discussion, why not look into some counseling?
Otherwise, you are too young to consider living an unhappy life with someone that lacks love, communication skills.
Usually gets worse, not better if it goes on without the above.

You have become boring to him that he much rather play with himself than with you. You need to spice up yourself more. You need to get in shape and not only look younger but you need to express yourself in a younger more attractive fashion. Having sex is one thing but there is more to it that leads to making love and that is what you really want and trust me on this one,, I am a guy and that is what I think you should do.. You need to take charge and I mean,, break him from that habit he has developed that does not include you.

It is not your problem it is his.
Maybe he is having some sex identiy issues and realizing that maybe he doesnt like women. He is masturbating so he doesnt have a problem getting it on, he just doesnt want to get it on with our or is it with women in general.
I think you should evaluate your finances and see if you can live on your own or find someplace else. As it seems that he is not interested in talking to you about it as he gets enraged.
This is not good for you - you deserve so much better. And he has to want to help himself you cant do it for him.

Because you have known each other for many years he perhaps sees you more as a best friend or sister rather than a lover.

Wow! This is a serious problem. He rather play with himself than with you. I say get it elsewhere. I really don't think he wants you anymore. This is just a place to stay at this time. Being honest. Use your head, put yourself first and straighten out your life to your advantage.

I would like to think he respects you too much and he is very disciplined. But, honestly I believe that in 4 years of living under one roof and he was never tempted to do something sexually, I guess something is wrong, somewhere/ somewhat. It's either he is gay or does not find you sexually stimulating.

Have you talked to him about this issue. What is the problem in the sex department? When was it that this started to happen... ? Look back and review to find the answers...
