I actually just watched this vid on yahoo's page. The preacher seems a bit zealous to me... but arnt most of them? I really can't judge whether he's out to just make money or not... but I think he may be on to something with what he is preaching about what a person's diet should look like if they want ultimate health.

I lived on a farm for a month and we ate everything out of the garden... and the meat we did eat came from their home raised butchered cow. I only ate "bad" food maybe 2 times that whole month and I got sick after each time. We had mostly fruits and vegi's with very minimal meat...... I never felt better in my life and my hair grew so fast during that month!

Isn't that what religion is all about ? The almighty dollar , the all sacred big buck. It's much easier to peach to word instead of working in the hot sun for peanuts .
And televangelists go after the buck by the billions . Remenber the story about the camel and the needle .

Yes in the garden and before the flood the fruits and veges were more nutritional then they are today. One might also note that before the flood and the beginning of meat eating man lived close to a thousand years.

Also regarding Bible diet, Many will say the Bible says but they only quote what is convenient to them from Paul's writings

Yes, that's what most preachers do anyway. If in fact they were about "saving souls" why do any of them write books and sell them for a profit, hold seminars that you have to pay to get into? Some of them even have their OWN version of the bible, i.e. T.D. Jakes women's devotional bible, The African American Study bible, Max Lucado study bible. What the hell is that about?

I feel he is using God to profit.
Maybe that is what happened to the Unicorn. LOL
I personal would avoid him at all costs.
If he truly care for his fellow humans he would help for free & not just limit it to Christian.
I could handle a donation to help with costs , but to make it a business , no way.
It's plain old commercialism.

I'm not a Christian, but according to the Bible, didn't Noah only take TWO of each animal so that they could breed? This guy's in a whole other route of thinking.

I think that the Preacher is trying to help people out. Is his intention to use God to make money? God only knows for sure. Here's my Bible diet, you can have it for free.

It's called cultivating the fruit of the Spirit known as "self control" when it comes to eating as found in Galatians 5

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Next the diet stresses getting off your duff and going out and working hard as it says in this passage.

2 Thessalonians 3:6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow. 10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat."

So what can you eat on this diet?

Ask God and people in the church who have lost weight then see what works for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 20 do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21 Test everything. Hold on to the good. 22 Avoid every kind of evil.

1 Timothy 4:4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

There ya go! A true Bible based diet!

Yes, of course. If you want to have a similar diet like the old testament you would eat Kosher. It only makes sense this how religious Jews have eaten for thousands of years. The hallelujah diet is like any other diet it's all about marketing and splash.
