Jesus did not fulfill the laws of the OT nor did he abolish, but created a path for none Jews to celebrate in the Jubilee.
2 Key laws changed to suit non Jews
Laws of the Sabbath
Laws of revenge "Eye for Eye"
To Christians the OT is referenced as history only, because they must live by the NT otherwise they would be following Judaism.

Because it goes against their beliefs. The food laws, ten commandments (engraven images and sabbath), not calling anyone your father (priests), not cutting down trees and decorating them in your house (book of Jeremiah), etc. I know Jesus fulfilled the law so some things did change (like sacrifices). I don't see where he changed the above things. This could be quite debate if enough knowledgeable people answered it.

edit: hug me. If they rapist and the woman didn't marry the rapist was to be executed and his family took care of (like child support) the child. It's an interesting resolution but not barbaric. The rapists are barbaric.

p.s. Oh, and the trinity supposedly changed. Originally it was Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer. Some believe that it was changed to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. However the New Testament never calls this a trinity. Matter a fact, the original greek texts don't even include those three as a trinity in the new testament.

They do not pay heed to what the Bible in its entirety states as in:

(2 Timothy 3:16-17) “. . .All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.”

--OF INTEREST IS that this text could only apply to the Hebrew Scriptures(OT) when Paul wrote since the Christian Scriptures were not in full written form to be able to do what the text above says!

IT WOULD be like having a car manual designed for cars in 1940 being used by individuals with 2008 models, almost unusable!
--so the "ALL SCRIPTURE" would have to be primarily referring to the OT and of course would be fully applicable with the NEW TESTAMENT when completed!

the old testament is cruel and inhumane. it doesnt forgives everyone and its just stupid. in OT a woman that is raped as a virgin, must marry with the rapist. who would do that today????

then jesus came and the new testament was created. with more nice and humane rules :]
