Hello:

I'm setting up our Windows 2000 server to use Terminal server. I will have 4 clients that need to access my server and use this service. I have heard that Windows server 2000 gives you two free licenses and the rest you need to purchase. I have also read that if you clients are running Windows 2000 professional or Windows XP Professional they are issued a free license to use Terminal Server. Does this mean that I don't have to purchase anything from Microsoft and that all my clients can use Terminal server without being kicked off if they are running these two operating systems?

Thanks in advance for your help!

My suggestion is, instead of relying on a speculative answer that may very well stear you in the wrong direction to log onto
http://www.microsoft.com.
You may have to look around a little or use one of there many options of contacting them, as well as there 1-800 number to give you accurate information on this server question.
